What Client Needed

A telecom operator had to calculate coverage statistics for the whole country and a calculation was taking 3 hours. Furthermore, the client was expected to have more precise input that is 16 times bigger and was interested in adjusting the tool, as 48h running time was not acceptable.

What We Did

Our tool assessment revealed that the complexity of the current implementation is not optimal. So, we proposed a better way to build the same functionality. As a result, the same work can now be done within 1 hour, with a 50x speed increase.

What Client Needed

During process assessment service with telecom client in Latin America, an in house developed tool for access right management came into focus. The tool had been developed for more than a year by 2 in-house engineers and 3 on site external consultants.

The tool service-in has constantly been delayed and process assessment revealed that the developed tool would not meet scale requirement from the day one. Client was suggested to terminate the ongoing development process and to outsource the development as a turnkey solution.

What We Did

Scope handshake was done within a week (since the major requirements were already collected during process assessment service). The full turn key price for the tool was agreed including solution design, development, testing and verification at client test plant.
